About Highland and Islands Blood Bikes
Founded in 2019, HAIBB is a volunteer-run charity dedicated to transporting vital medical supplies, including blood, medication, and other urgent items, free of charge for the NHS. Our service covers an area of approximately 12,500 square miles, utilising a fleet of motorcycles and vehicles to ensure timely deliveries across vast and challenging terrains. We operate seven days a week, from 6 AM to 8 PM, providing a crucial link in the healthcare chain that helps save lives and support medical professionals.
